Research Projects of Thematic Area

The School of Law University of Nairobi, in a Consortium with the University of Oslo, the University of Zambia, Chancellor College, University of Malawi has received Norwegian Programme for Capacity Development in Higher Education and Research for Development (NORHED) funding in the first round of funding. The funding is for the implementation of a Project entitled - Masters Programme and Capacity Building in Law Faculties:  Engendering Human Rights in Southern and Eastern Africa. The objective of the NORHED project is to develop the institutional capacity and performance of higher education institutions in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to deliver quality education and research, in order to educate more and better qualified candidates, to increase knowledge production and to contribute to evidence-based policymaking.
