Ms. Nerima Akinyi Were Tutorial Fellow

Nerima Akinyi Were serves as Tutorial Fellow at the School of Law. She is a Lawyer that holds Masters and Undergraduate degrees in Law from the University of Pretoria. Nerima previously worked with the Judiciary in South Africa serving as a Researcher at the Land Claims Court and the Constitutional Court in South Africa. She worked with the Kenya Legal & Ethical Issues Network on HIV and AIDS (KELIN)  as a volunteer, intern and eventually pro-bono lawyer between 2014 and 2015 when she left the organisation to complete her pupillage at Coulson Harney Advocates.
