Most student activities are co-ordinated by various student organizations and clubs listed below.

  1. Students Association for Legal Aid and Research

The Students Association for Legal Aid and Research (SALAR) is non –profit making organisation established at the University of Nairobi, School of law in 1999 with the main objective of providing legal awareness, research and  advisory services.

  1. Parklands Catholic Community

This is a religious group based on the catholic faith. It helps students grow spiritually and provides all avenues necessary for such growth. It is a branch of the Saint Paul’s chaplaincy based in the main campus of the University of Nairobi.

  1. Arts Club

The parklands arts club majors virtually in all forms of arts and poetry including poems, spoken word and Music. In arts club we take a trip into the mind and explore without limitations

  1. School of Law Parklands Debating Society

This is a debating forum where university students get to exchange ideas, and get to be trained on the various models of debating that are officially recognized all over the world.

  1. Moot Court Club Parklands

The Moot Court Club provides training to its members purposely to equip them with skills such as, public speaking, legal research and presentation skills. Generally mooting is vital for every law student no matter the legal career they plan to follow after graduation.

  1. Students of Law and Diplomacy (SOLAD)

SOLAD is the Students of Law and Diplomacy and it is an affiliate of the Kenya Law Students Society (KLSS) and the International Law Students Association (ILSA). The club’s main objective is to empower law students in matters of law and diplomacy.

  1. Parklands Campus Rep

This is the official website for Parklands Campus representative. Critical issues affecting students will be channeled through this website.

  1. UoN Kadhi’s Court Legal Aid Initiative (KCLAI)

This club deals with the offering of legal Aid (pro bono) services at the Kadhi’s Court (A branch of Milimani Commercial Courts.) Our mandate and jurisdiction is premised on  drafting of all legal documents required to commence a suit that is within the jurisdiction of the Kadhi’s court in accordance with Article 170 of the Constitution of Kenya and the civil procedure rules 2010. 

  1. Kenya Model United Nations (Parklands Chapter)

KMUN Parklands Chapter is a part of the Kenya Model United nations - a simulation of the United Nations system. Our aim is to extend cultural empathy, understanding of international affairs, and knowledge of the United Nations amongst young people.


10. Parklands Campus Christian Union

This is a Christian organization based in the University of Nairobi at Parklands Campus; it incorporates all evangelical Christian students
